Surrounded by teak and bamboo forest, fruit and grain plantations (orange, pineapple, rice, soybean) and the Doi Nang Lae Mountain Range.

• The area is ideal for walking and hiking (guided tours are available), motor and mountain.
• Biking (we have motorcycles and bikes for rent), horseback riding or swimming in a nearby lake and perfect for relaxing in clean fresh air.

PLACES OF INTEREST NEARBY, WITHIN 30 km:

• Numerous waterfalls, Hill tribe villages (also Karen Long Necked), Doi Tung Royal Garden (highly recommended), Doi Mae Salong (spectacular mountain view).
• Mae Sai border market, also across the river in Myanmar , nightclubs in Chiang Rai and student Pubs near Mae Fa Luang University.
• We can also arrange day trips to the Golden Triangle, Mae Salong or Tha Ton (visit 9 Buddhist temples and take the river boat to Chiang Rai,where we pick you up……a very pleasant tour).
• The closest immigration office for visa extension is in Mae Sai, if you have to leave Thailand to renew your visa you can just cross the border to Myanmar and return immediately, which takes about half an hour.
